  • It helps to brush your teeth immediately after eating or drinking coffee. If you can’t brush your teeth right away, be sure to at least rinse your mouth with water.
  • Speaking of coffee, if you can avoid it, do so. Beverages like coffee, red wine and tea can stain your teeth. If you choose to have these drinks, consider using a straw to bypass your teeth.
  • Brush your teeth at least two times per day, and floss at least once. Dental visits are a must. Your dentist can provide whitening services and touch ups to maintain the whiter shade. We recommend visiting your Wheaton dentist every six months, or more frequently if you smoke or drink a lot of coffee.
